About The Position

Responsible for overseeing Retail Bank Operations including residential mortgage, consumer lending, branch management, and deposit operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and achieving annual goals and objectives as established in the bank's strategic plan. The Chief Retail Officer ensures the bank's compliance with various operating policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, and supervises assigned personnel. Additionally, this position is responsible for the bank's sales program, which aims to promote and develop banking relationships including retail deposits, retail lending, and municipal accounts throughout the Bank's market area. This includes communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel and providing periodic reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field normally required
• Specialized banking education/training
• Proficiency in development and oversight of retail strategies
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
• Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills
• Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services and the operating policies and procedures which impact them
• Thorough knowledge of current banking regulations
• Proficient PC skills including data analytics
• Visual and auditory skills
• A minimum of ten (10) years' related experience normally required
