About The Position

This role involves the day-to-day operation of a state-of-the-art cold & dry storage distribution center. The Chief Operator will be responsible for operating ammonia/CO2 refrigeration systems in accordance with TSSA regulations, conducting regular facility inspections, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. This position also requires coordination and communication with operators regarding tasks for clients and liaison with facility management. Additionally, the role includes the creation of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and records of training (ROT's).

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience of relevant experience in an Operator role or similar
• 2-4 years of experience overseeing a team
• Post-secondary education and valid Refrigeration Operator Class B, as well 3rd Class Engineers
• Competent computer and administration skills

Nice To Haves

• Valid working at heights, WHMIS, Ariel platform certifications is an asset (training provided as needed)
