C3Wellbeing has been offering high quality employee assistance program services for over 35 years. C3Wellbeing provides support, resources, and information for personal and work-life issues. C3Wellbeing is town sponsored, confidential, and provides services at no charge to employees and their dependents. The work-life specialists conduct the research and provide qualified referrals and customized resources for child and elder care, moving, pet care, college planning, home repair, buying a car, planning an event, selling a house, and more. C3Wellbeing provides legal advice “on call”, regarding legal matters such as divorce, custody, adoption, real estate, debt and bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, civil and criminal actions. The organization offers online access to search for qualified child and elder care, attorneys, and financial planners. C3Wellbeing was established in 1987 as a pilot student assistance program based on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) model in seven Rhode Island High Schools. C3Wellbeing now provides services in 63 Middle and High Schools in 32 school districts, with a mission to reduce substance use and promote mental health among people ages 12 to 18. Student Assistance Counselors teach an eight-session curriculum designed to educate students about substance use and the impact of family addiction. It also provided students with exposer to the Student Assistance Counselor in a non-threatening, non-stigmatizing manner. Counselors also provide confidential, short-term, individual and group counseling services for students on an as needed or referral basis. The Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) will be an important member of the Senior Executive Team and will have a seat at the leadership table. C3Wellbeing’s Board seeks an experienced professional leader who brings a full set of executive abilities to the position as this senior level professional will be involved in major strategic and operational decisions affecting the organization. C3Wellbeing is a highly visible organization in the community. This role requires a leader who is collaborative, a visionary, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in the lives of people in need. This professional will have a significant impact on the organization’s budget and diverse funding streams, including Federal, State, and Local grants. The COO will serve as a team player who will interface with clinicians, staff, and stakeholders, as well as with partners of the organization.
