About The Position

The Chief of Staff will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to execute the corporate strategy, deliver exceptional business outcomes, lead critical strategic projects, and continuously improve organizational alignment and effectiveness. This high-impact role on the leadership team will be accountable for building out the Product function, delivering several key strategic initiatives, ensuring AI is implemented effectively, and helping the CEO translate strategic vision into results. You will collaborate with all functions including Product, Marketing, Brands, Operations, Tech, and Finance to ensure the company is aligned on key priorities and delivering effectively against them. You will act as the connective tissue of the company, turning strategy into execution, holding teams accountable, and ensuring decisions translate into results across regions. This is a high visibility, high ownership role for someone with both a strategic and operational background who thrives in high performing fast-paced environments, is an exceptional collaborator, and wants to deliver real results.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in consulting, investment, startups, or high-growth companies
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of DTC/eCommerce models
  • Highly organized with strong project management and execution skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
  • Exposure to AI, data, or technical teams; ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience implementing tools, automation, or data-driven workflows (AI/ML familiarity is a strong plus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High ownership mentality with a bias for action
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments
  • Experience working across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Experience working across international teams, ideally US and Europe

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to ensure the strategy is communicated, implemented, tracked, and delivered effectively.
  • Drive annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles including preparing materials, tracking execution of key deliverables, leading offsites / key meetings, and proactively escalating opportunities and risks.
  • Track performance against key metrics and OKRs and help ensure all targets are achieved.
  • Synthesize data and performance into clear insights and recommendations for the CEO.
  • Lead and deliver priority strategic initiatives including new function development, product development, channel expansion, market expansion, and AI results delivery.
  • Work closely with leadership team members accountable for delivering other priority strategic initiatives to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and CEO visibility of progress and emerging issues.
  • Help ensure AI initiatives translate into tangible and cost-effective business performance improvements and ensure effective governance of AI tools, workflows, and investments across both the US and EU.
  • Build and lead the Product function across three main pillars of (i) Product Strategy & Insights (ii) Research & Development (iii) Go To Market.
  • Identify key market, consumer, competitor, and health trends through primary and secondary research and use these insights to develop and iterate Primal Harvest’s product strategy.
  • Lead an internal and external R&D team to develop efficacious, high NPS, margin accretive products customized to local regulations across the US and EU markets.
  • Lead the Go To Market (GTM) process from product strategy through launch and post launch retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the CEO to ensure that company priorities are executed effectively by the rest of the leadership team and organization and any issues / roadblocks are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.
  • Manage the leadership operating cadence to ensure the right meetings happen, with the people and information, at the right moments – remove bottleneck and escalate issues.
  • Identify ways to improve and evolve the operating model as the business grows over time.
  • Help drive culture impacting initiatives including employee surveys, all-hands, events.
  • Support board and investor preparation, including materials, insights, and key narratives.
  • Ensure US and European teams are aligned around shared priorities, tools, and ways of working and maintain effective communication practices consistently deliver aligned results.
