About The Position

Workweek is seeking a highly driven, organized, and strategic Chief of Staff to serve as a thought partner and force multiplier for their CEO. This senior, high-impact role involves tackling complex, cross-functional challenges, balancing strategic planning with operational execution, driving special projects, and collaborating directly with the CEO to shape and communicate the company's product vision. The core objectives for the first year include organizing key initiatives by bringing structure to critical company projects, assigning ownership, and establishing operational rhythms; translating and communicating the product vision by distilling complex roadmaps into clear communications for internal and external audiences; and driving team alignment and updates by owning internal communications, executive updates, and All-Hands meetings to ensure the team is informed about company goals and progress. The role requires remote work, with all work conducted in English and availability during the Central Time Zone workday.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or a high-growth startup operations/strategy role.
  • Ability to work closely with the CEO to translate high-level vision into a tangible, executable product roadmap.
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills to turn messy ideas into crisp, inspiring updates for the whole company.
  • A "get shit done" mentality with low-ego ownership of both high-level strategy and unglamorous process-fixing.
  • Ability to turn scattered Slack threads, conflicting opinions, and messy data into concise, one-page decision memos.
  • Comfortable modeling, building lightweight dashboards, and reviewing KPIs to pressure-test business assumptions.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead new vertical launches and new product launches from 0 to 1.
  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects when the business needs immediate execution and alignment.
  • Drive the strategy and creation of Upfronts key external presentations, and support Investor Relations.
  • Join executive team meetings and ensure executive communication is carried through the company.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business, providing strategic direction and input where needed to unblock teams and accelerate growth.
  • Translate high-level company goals into actionable milestones (e.g., OKRs, quarterly planning cycles).
  • Run the leadership cadence, setting agendas for executive meetings, capturing decisions, assigning DRIs, and driving follow-ups.
  • Bridge the communication gap between the CEO and department heads to ensure clear cascading of decisions and feedback.
  • Step in as a temporary owner for critical gaps (e.g., HR, Ops, Finance) until a dedicated leader is hired.
