About The Position

Qualitate is hiring a Chief of Staff to support its leadership team, primarily the CEO and founder, across product, sales, operations, and other cross-functional workstreams. The role is hands-on and combines strategic projects with execution, including building models and board decks, speaking with corporate and investor customers, testing research products, and improving operational processes. The Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO as part of the founding team and will help the company scale its AI-native primary intelligence platform. The position calls for strong judgment, execution, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. The Chief of Staff will run top priorities from idea through completion, support go-to-market efforts and strategic accounts, investigate expansion opportunities, maintain the operating cadence, and help teams stay focused and unblocked. The role is based in NYC, with in-person work Monday through Wednesday and remote work Thursday and Friday. Compensation includes a base salary of $140,000–$180,000 depending on experience, an early-stage equity grant, health coverage, flexible PTO, and paid holidays.

Requirements

2–6 years of experience in a high-performance environment; ideally at a tech startup, management consultancy, investment bank, or investment firm.
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to make sense of messy data, avoid typos, and handle executive-level communications reliably.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A track record of excellence in school, work, or elsewhere.
Daily use of AI for research, analysis, and automation, and an interest in using it to make the team faster.
High ownership and low ego, with a willingness to do whatever work is needed to help build the company.
Ability to execute rather than merely advise, work with limited structure, focus on progress, and get into the details.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Chief of Staff, BizOps, or BD role at an early-stage startup.
Background in expert networks, market research, or data products.

Responsibilities

Run the CEO’s top priorities, taking projects from rough idea to finished result and scoping them quickly.
Support cross-functional projects with Sales and Product, including new go-to-market plays, strategic accounts, and partnerships.
Explore expansion opportunities by sizing new markets for Qualitate’s data, testing new offerings with customers, and building the case for future directions.
Assist with quarterly and annual planning and leadership meetings, and ensure decisions become assigned actions with owners and deadlines.
Set team priorities, clear blockers across teams, and keep communication clear and fast.
Build models and board decks, speak with corporate and investor customers, test research products, and fix broken processes as needed.
