We are looking for an operational leader to act as the Chief of Staff for our Delivery organization. As we transition to a new capability-led structure, this role requires a decision-maker who will serve as the right hand to the Head of Strategy & Delivery. The Chief of Staff will help run the daily rhythm of the business and drive critical internal initiatives. This role involves partnering closely with Capability Leads and Business Operations to ensure proper staffing, accurate data, and adoption of established standards. The position is based in our Cleveland, OH office with a hybrid schedule, with the team in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in professional services, consulting, or agency operations.
  • Deep understanding of service business metrics (margins, utilization, leverage).
  • Fluent in Salesforce/PSA tools and Excel.
  • Strong foundation in Change Management (e.g., ADKAR principles).
  • Ability to build a communication plan, track adoption metrics, and coach teams through new operational behaviors.
  • Ability to analyze a resource forecast and identify issues.
  • High EQ and low ego.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders who do not report to you.
  • Willingness to have difficult conversations about data accuracy or staffing conflicts.
  • View this role as a stepping stone to senior leadership.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the right hand to the Head of Strategy & Delivery, helping run the daily rhythm of the business while driving critical internal initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Capability Leads and Business Operations to ensure proper staffing, accurate data, and adoption of established standards.
  • Act as the human in the loop for the staffing process, making final decisions on assignments and balancing client demand with employee career growth.
  • Negotiate with Project Managers when resources are tight.
  • Own the weekly cadence of the delivery business, including running forecast reviews, auditing utilization data, and ensuring time-tracking accuracy.
  • Act as the Change Manager and Program Lead for the rollout of the Further Standard (consistent delivery templates and tools).
  • Design the adoption strategy, manage stakeholder resistance, and fix friction points to ensure new standards become daily reality.
