About The Position

Darkroom is hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on the company’s highest-priority needs, which may vary week to week and include fundraising, resolving team issues, product pricing, and closing deals. The role owns complex initiatives through completion and may eventually lead to running a line of the business. The Chief of Staff will manage the company’s operating rhythm, support the executive team, lead capital-raising work alongside the CEO, and take on challenging company-wide projects, including M&A and work related to Shadow, Darkroom’s marketing agent. The role also serves as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, deciding what requires the CEO’s attention and handling what does not, while using AI to improve the company’s speed and the role’s own work. This is an in-person position at Darkroom’s New York office at 40 Wall St. Darkroom describes its culture as fast-moving, rigorous, high-performing, creative, and ownership-oriented, with autonomy, accountability, collaboration, and an emphasis on outcomes.
