About The Position

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Chief of Anesthesia for Methodist Germantown Hospital, a flagship facility within the Methodist Le Bonheur System. This full-time position offers a leading compensation package and the opportunity to lead a robust Anesthesia Care Team. The hospital is a 319-bed, full-service teaching facility recognized for patient safety and quality care.

Requirements

• Active state license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• BC or BE in Anesthesiology
• Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the Anesthesia Care Team, consisting of 15 Physicians and 23 CRNAs.
• Oversee anesthesia services for a diverse range of cases including General, Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, GI, GYN, Plastics, Pulmonary, and OB.
• Manage anesthesia care in 20 ORs, a dedicated OB unit, Cath Lab, and GI suite.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and foster innovation within the anesthesia department.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the anesthesia team.
