This position in coordination with the WIC Director will provide leadership in program operations, staff supervision, training, quality assurance, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, and ensures USDA and State regulatory compliance to provide quality services for women, infants, and children (WIC participants). Knowledge of WIC policies, regulations, certification procedures, and public health nutrition principles. This candidate will possess strong leadership, staff development, and program management skills. Preferred candidates with ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and implement quality improvement initiatives. Candidate will have ability to build effective relationships with staff, participants, healthcare providers, and community partners.
