The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a key member of the Coastal Harbor Health System senior leadership team. This role integrates and coordinates a patient-centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach and a keen focus on patient care. The CNO ensures the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services (UHS) and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The CNO will focus on five key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance. Coastal Harbor Health System includes two facilities: Coastal Behavioral Health, serving adults with mental health services, and Coastal Harbor Treatment Center, a 114-bed youth treatment facility serving children and adolescents. UHS is a large healthcare provider with a strong record of achievement, operating numerous facilities across various locations.
