About The Position

Rainier Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The role contributes to the hospital’s mission of making communities healthier and providing exceptional care to the communities it serves. The CNO performs patient assessments, identifies patient needs, initiates appropriate nursing interventions, and ensures care is appropriate to each patient’s condition and age. The role also includes timely medical-necessity documentation, completion and revision of each patient’s Interdisciplinary Care Plan, and accurate quality-improvement assessments.

The position requires a current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS are required within six months. ASLS certification is preferred, as is one year of experience. The stated salary range is $125,000–$165,000 per year.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
