About The Position
Ignite Medical Resort CHESTERTON is hiring a Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. The Chief Nursing Officer resumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process. This role requires a current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Indiana, a degree as a registered nurse from an accredited nursing program, and CPR and First Aid training. The position involves taking call after hours and on weekends, maintaining quality assurance and implementing plans for improvement, presenting a professional appearance, and understanding and following directions related to patient care. The role has full access to Protected Health Information of residents and requires the ability to organize and prioritize tasks accurately within specified time constraints. Essential functions include the ability to speak, hear, and read English, discern temperature, texture, size, and shape. Exceptional attendance is a requirement.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Indiana
- Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
- CPR and First Aid training
- Ability to speak, hear, and read English

- 2 year Director of Nursing experience in SNF
Responsibilities
- Resumes responsibility for the health of each resident

- Present a professional appearance

- Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of residents, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction
