About The Position

UIDC is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead a sophisticated, enterprise-wide marketing function that drives growth, elevates brand performance, and strengthens the competitive position of every business within the organization. This executive leader will develop an integrated marketing vision, oversee multi-channel strategy, advance customer insights, and ensure marketing excellence across a diverse and expanding portfolio. This leader partners directly with the President, executive team, General Managers, and business unit leaders to drive measurable revenue gains, customer growth, brand strength, cross-business engagement, and long-term enterprise vitality. The ideal candidate is a seasoned enterprise marketing executive with deep experience managing multiple brands, complex business portfolios, and sophisticated marketing technology ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years senior marketing leadership across multi-brand enterprises or complex portfolios
  • Proven record driving measurable business outcomes including revenue growth, visitation, loyalty, brand strength, and campaign ROI
  • Expertise in digital strategy, analytics, segmentation, CRM, automation, and multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience overseeing marketing technology ecosystems, dashboards, and data governance
  • Demonstrated leadership of budgets, agencies, vendors, and complex marketing operations
  • Strong executive presence; highly skilled communicator with board-level experience
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for UIDC’s Drivers Program

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide marketing strategy aligned with financial performance, customer growth goals, portfolio priorities, and measurable ROI.
  • Translate strategy into outcomes including revenue growth, visitation, customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, brand equity, market share, and campaign performance.
  • Govern multi-brand architecture and standards while protecting individual business identities.
  • Align marketing strategies with revenue goals across hospitality, gaming, tourism, retail, food & beverage, property management, and additional UIDC operations.
  • Lead enterprise-wide cross-promotional strategies to increase engagement and portfolio awareness.
  • Utilize segmentation, loyalty data, and analytics to deepen personalization and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead strategy across SEO, digital advertising, social media, content, web, email, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee traditional media including broadcast, print, OOH, and event marketing.
  • Ensure high-performing multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable business results.
  • Oversee enterprise research and analytics to influence major business decisions.
  • Lead customer journey design and experience improvements in partnership with operations leaders.
  • Direct the use of CRM systems, analytics platforms, segmentation engines, automation tools, and dashboards.
  • Ensure sophisticated reporting practices connecting marketing spend to revenue impact and customer behavior.
  • Manage creative, media, and marketing agency relationships and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate across PR, Communications, HR, Community Relations, and legal counsel to ensure brand alignment and message discipline.
  • Oversee multi-million-dollar enterprise marketing budgets with strict ROI accountability.
  • Allocate resources to highest-value growth opportunities.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing, multidiscipline marketing team.
  • Support UIDC’s commitment to Tribal career development through mentorship, training, and opportunity creation.
