Chief Marketing Officer - Managing Director

iCapital is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead their global marketing strategy and establish the company as a leading provider of technology solutions for alternative investments. The CMO will work closely with senior management and oversee a team responsible for market intelligence, creative, digital marketing, public relations, and corporate communications. The role will involve developing a comprehensive multi-media program to drive awareness, understanding, and consideration among target audiences, including technology, operations, and investment product executives in the financial services market.

• Partner with iCapital Technology and Sales leadership to develop the strategy for evolving iCapital's brand as global, impactful, and differentiated.
• Oversee the development of comprehensive marketing materials and promotional campaigns for banks, fund management, and fund distribution decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Brand, Public Relations, and Sports Marketing agencies to develop iCapital's messaging and creative execution.
• Develop media plans to reach and influence target audiences through paid, earned, and owned media and events.
• Ensure strict adherence to applicable global regulations and guidelines through collaboration with the iCapital Compliance team.

Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Finance or Technology-related discipline; MBA a plus

15-20 years of relevant work experience as a strategic, outcome-based innovator of high profile, industry-leading technology brands

Understanding of the global brand and marketing environment for high-growth B2B SAS technology brands

Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing global B2B branding/marketing efforts – audience segmentation, message development, creative, production, media buying, and analytics

Experience at or with a client base that includes general partners, Wirehouse

• Base salary range of $375,000 to $450,000
