About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is seeking experienced maintenance technicians with management or supervisory experience for a fast-track, nine-month training program. This program is designed for skilled tradespeople with hands-on technical expertise and some team leadership experience who are ready to lead their own facility. Upon successful completion, graduates will move into a Chief Technician position at one of Mission's 25 facilities. Industry experience is not required, but proven, hands-on technical skill in industrial maintenance and leadership experience are essential.

Requirements

  • Hands-on, working experience in Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs and scheduling.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Boiler operation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Plumbing industrial systems and repair.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Wastewater and Treatment systems.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Welding MIG, TIG, or industrial fabrication welding.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Hydraulics systems and repair.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Pneumatics systems and repair.
  • Hands-on, working experience in Industrial Electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels.
  • Prior experience in a management, supervisory, or team-lead role.
  • Associate's degree or certification in a related industrial or technical field.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to relocate after training to manage your own facility within the first 3 years of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance operations of an industrial laundry facility.
  • Manage a team and a plant.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) programs and scheduling.
  • Operate, test, and maintain boilers.
  • Perform plumbing industrial systems and repair.
  • Manage wastewater and treatment systems.
  • Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or industrial fabrication welding).
  • Repair hydraulics systems.
  • Repair pneumatics systems.
  • Work with industrial electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels.
  • Complete regular progress reports with the learning and development department.
  • Participate in company-sponsored development workshops.
