About The Position

Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is seeking an executive of Clinical Systems to lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, Netsmart Evolv. This role is responsible for ensuring the EHR effectively supports clinicians, program staff, and leadership through strong system governance, workflow optimization, and actionable reporting. Important: Role requires direct experience implementing, administering, or managing a healthcare Electronic Health Record system (such as Netsmart, Epic, Cerner, or a comparable platform). Candidates whose experience is limited to clinical operations, practice management, or end-user use of an EHR system will not be considered. This position focuses on clinical systems leadership and EHR administration — not clinical operations or practice management. The Chief Information Officer will partner with clinical leadership, IT, and executive management to improve system usability, strengthen reporting and data integrity, and ensure the EHR effectively supports multidisciplinary behavioral health services across the organization.

Requirements

  • Direct hands-on experience implementing, administering, or managing a healthcare EHR system (Netsmart, Epic, Cerner, or similar)
  • Experience configuring system workflows, documentation templates, or system reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of healthcare clinical documentation and operational workflows
  • Experience translating operational or clinical needs into system improvements
  • Ability to work effectively with clinicians, operations leaders, and technical teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Netsmart Evolv or other behavioral health EHR platforms
  • Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or data quality initiatives
  • Experience supervising system analysts or EHR support staff
  • Experience working in behavioral health, community health, or multi-program healthcare environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration, configuration, and optimization of the Netsmart Evolv EHR platform
  • Improve system workflows and usability for clinicians and program staff
  • Develop and maintain operational and executive reporting that supports decision-making
  • Translate clinical and operational needs into system configuration and reporting solutions
  • Establish governance processes for system enhancements, workflow changes, and system updates
  • Manage relationships with Netsmart and other external system vendors or consultants
  • Train and support staff on effective system use and best practices
  • Ensure system data integrity, documentation standards, and reporting accuracy across programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinician experience and reduce documentation burden
  • Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, quality teams, and IT to align system capabilities with organizational needs
