About The Position

The Chief Fiscal and Administrative Officer serves as a key member of the Health and Human Services executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and oversight of the Department's fiscal and administrative operations. This position is responsible for leading complex budget development and financial management while overseeing administrative functions including contracts, grants, procurement, personnel, information technology, regulatory compliance, and facilities. The role works collaboratively with Department leadership to develop long-term strategies, ensure fiscal sustainability, maximize funding opportunities, and support the delivery of essential public health and social services to the residents of Mono County.

Requirements

  • Four years of increasingly responsible experience in fiscal and administrative managerial operations of a public agency including social services and public health programs.
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or related field.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California driver's license.
