About Enso Village Enso Village is a Zen-inspired community with a focus on mindful aging, the joys of nature, sustainability and contemplative life and care for adults 60+. Enso Village is a collaborative endeavor between the Kendal Corporation—an esteemed, nationally recognized leader in senior living guided by the Quaker values of its founders—and the San Francisco Zen Center, one of the first Zen Buddhist organizations in the US, founded by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. The Role In partnership with the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall financial strategy, stewardship, and long-term financial sustainability of Enso Village. The CFO provides both strategic and operational leadership for all financial functions across the organization, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The CFO serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and Executive Leadership Team, translating financial information into actionable business insights that support organizational growth, operational excellence, risk management, and mission fulfillment. This role oversees all financial operations, including accounting, treasury management, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, bond compliance, investment oversight, internal controls, and financial systems. The CFO partners closely with Human Resources and operational leaders to support labor planning, strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and capital investments.
