About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Chief Executive Officer for Ballard Rehab Hospital, a 60-bed rehabilitation facility in San Bernardino, California. The hospital provides rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses, helping patients regain physical or cognitive abilities and return home with the highest level of independence. It offers a fast-paced, friendly work environment in which staff can get to know patients and their families. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for delivering quality patient care, developing new business, supervising and controlling staff, and managing the hospital’s financial performance. The role balances day-to-day operational issues with strategic development initiatives to support the hospital’s long-term growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of academic, clinical, and operational experience may be considered.
- At least three years of experience in healthcare administration or management, including experience in operations management, human resources, and/or finance.
- Knowledge of federal, state, CMS, and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated track record of financial success and exemplary clinical care.
- Proven success in recruiting and developing staff and building relationships with the medical community.
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
