About The Position

The Chief Executive Officer, APAC will serve as the senior executive leader for PNY's Taiwan/APAC business, responsible for shaping regional strategy, driving profitable growth, strengthening customer, supplier, OEM/ODM, and technology partner relationships, and building a scalable organization aligned with PNY's global priorities. This role is intended to mirror PNY's regional executive leadership model in France/EMEA, with Taiwan serving as a critical hub for APAC growth, supplier engagement, technology partnerships, and operational execution. The CEO will lead across commercial strategy, product and market expansion, supply chain and operational alignment, organizational development, and team culture. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level leadership experience in the Taiwan/APAC technology ecosystem, with the ability to operate as both a strategic business leader and a hands-on executive who can build trust, develop people, improve retention, and strengthen organizational performance.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in technology, hardware, semiconductors, memory, storage, GPU, AI infrastructure, OEM, distribution, or related markets.
  • Proven experience leading a sizeable regional business with P&L responsibility and accountability for revenue, margin, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of the Taiwan/APAC technology ecosystem, including suppliers, OEMs, ODMs, contract manufacturers, distributors, channel partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, or transforming a business in APAC, with the ability to balance strategic direction and hands-on execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, sales strategy, pricing, major customer engagement, partner development, and executive-level negotiations.
  • Product and market fluency across one or more areas such as GPU/AI hardware, SSD, DRAM, Flash Memory, server systems, storage technologies, CPU/GPU hardware design, or AI infrastructure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional organizations across product, sales, operations, supply chain, engineering, R&D, marketing, technical support, finance, and HR.
  • Proven ability to build strong team culture, develop leaders, improve employee engagement, and retain high-performing talent through periods of growth, change, or transformation.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence across cultures and global teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Taiwan/APAC business as an integrated regional enterprise, aligning strategy, performance, operations, people, and external partnerships with PNY's global direction.
  • Own revenue, margin, profitability, forecasting, business planning, and year-over-year growth across GPU, AI infrastructure, SSD, DRAM, Flash Memory, OEM, enterprise, client, and consumer segments.
  • Serve as PNY's senior regional representative with customers, suppliers, OEMs, ODMs, contract manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, technology partners, and industry stakeholders across Taiwan/APAC.
  • Partner with global product, engineering, R&D, procurement, sales, operations, and marketing teams to guide roadmap alignment, launch readiness, product positioning, lifecycle performance, and market adoption.
  • Strengthen strategic relationships across Taiwan/APAC and identify partnerships that expand PNY's access to customers, technology platforms, supply sources, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee regional execution across supply chain, production planning, inventory, logistics, sales operations, sell-through, cost, margin performance, and customer support.
  • Shape a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, communication, collaboration, and trust; develop managers and employees; improve engagement; and build the leadership capability needed to retain talent through growth and change.
  • Provide regular business, financial, operational, and organizational updates to global leadership, including risks, opportunities, investment needs, and strategic recommendations.
