About The Position

The Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO) is responsible for leading AARs global technology strategy and digital transformation agenda. This executive will drive innovation, modernize technology platforms, strengthen cybersecurity, and advance data, analytics, and AI capabilities that support business growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional customer experience across AARs global aviation services operations. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CDTO serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board while leading AARs global Digital Technology and Analytics organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive responsibility for enterprise technology strategy and operations.
• Experience serving as a CIO, CDTO, CTO, or equivalent executive leadership role within a complex, global organization.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation and enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data and analytics, AI, and digital innovation.
• Experience leading technology organizations supporting operationally intensive industries such as aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial services.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership, manage significant technology investments, and build high-performing global teams.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, communication, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to translate technology into business results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute AARs enterprise technology and digital strategy, aligning technology investments with business objectives and long-term growth.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives that improve operational performance across MRO, supply chain, and corporate functions.
• Oversee the global technology organization, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data, analytics, AI, and service delivery.
• Modernize legacy technology environments and drive adoption of scalable, cloud-based solutions and digital capabilities.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and resilience of enterprise technology while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and data privacy requirements.
• Advance enterprise data, analytics, automation, and AI strategies that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
• Develop and manage the global technology budget, investment portfolio, strategic vendors, and performance metrics.
• Build and lead a high-performing global technology organization while fostering innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify technology opportunities that create measurable business value and enhance the customer experience.
