Under the supervision of the Drain Commissioner, serves as deputy for the Drain Office. Maintains the accounting and financial records for the Drain Office including payables, receivables, and interest disbursements. Answers questions from the public concerning drainage districts and assessment procedures, and provides information regarding assessments, unpaid balances, and interest due. Assists developers, residents, and others on drain problems to help resolve water or drainage issues related to county drains. Performs a variety of support tasks for the Drain Commissioner. Processes soil erosion and sedimentation control and drain permits. Represents the Drain Commissioner in his/her absence.
