About The Position

This is a senior, hands-on statutory role serving as the designated BSA Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of the company’s US Money Services Business. The role reports to the Board and works closely with the Global Chief Compliance Officer on the compliance framework and policies. The existing BSA/AML and OFAC programme includes policies, a risk assessment, SAR processes, sanctions screening, training records, and an independent review. The role is responsible for keeping the programme examination-ready and strengthening it to support US growth with banking partners, card acquirers, and new integrations. Filing, exit, and escalation decisions are made independently and are not subject to commercial approval. The role is expected to work quickly and collaboratively with Product and Operations. The company is an established, profitable fintech operating across crypto and traditional payments. It provides a consumer on/off-ramp platform and B2B APIs and white-label solutions for exchanges, neobanks, PSPs, wallets, and other platforms. The group is authorised under MiCA and PSD2 in the EU, registered in Canada, and expanding its licensing footprint in Europe and the UK. Its US entity is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business. The company describes its culture as owner-led, high-ownership, and low-bureaucracy, with decisions made close to the founders. The position is remote within the United States, with periodic in-person time at the European headquarters.
