Trinity Health Michigan (THMI) is seeking a data-driven, strategic, clinical, and operational executive to serve as its next Chief Clinical Officer (CCO). This role acts as a crucial link between clinical care, emerging technologies, and Trinity Health's overarching strategy. The ideal candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the nine hospital locations within Michigan. The Chief Clinical Officer reports directly to the President and CEO of Trinity Health Michigan and is a key member of THMI's Executive Team. This position provides strategic thought leadership and direction for THMI's Clinical and Medical Staff Services, Quality, Patient Safety, Research, Graduate Medical Education, and Care Management programs across both acute care and ambulatory settings. The CCO is the primary clinical leader for Quality, collaborating with THMI's regional and local boards to oversee quality, care management, risk, research, regulatory reviews, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives throughout the health system. This role is responsible for leading strategies that ensure regulatory compliance and risk management, thereby upholding the ministries' mission and vision. The CCO also serves as an internal consultant to senior medical leadership, including hospital Presidents, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Nursing Officers, and other medical staff leaders. Additionally, the CCO provides matrix oversight to Chief Medical Officers and the Regional Chief Nursing Officer to advance quality, safety, and the integration of Systemwide Clinical Services.
