About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento. Vibra Hospital of Sacramento is a 58-bed Critical Care Hospital located in Folsom, CA, dedicated to providing acute care services for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital specializes in treating complex medical conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment where close patient and family relationships can be developed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing or related field required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a Nursing Management position supervising the delivery of patient care required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required where work is provided in multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Directing and facilitating the activities of nursing and clinical services.
  • Assuming an active leadership role in the hospital’s decision-making structure and process.
  • Ensuring and facilitating the competence of clinical staff.
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing for patient care.
  • Overseeing clinical program development.
  • Developing hospital-wide systems, policies, and procedures to meet patient care needs.
  • Having overall responsibility and accountability for the development of staffing plans and departmental budgets.
  • Planning for the appropriate utilization of resources.
  • Maintaining or improving the work environment.
  • Monitoring and improving the quality and appropriateness of care.
  • Assuring appropriate staff for patient acuity.
  • Working closely with Physicians to address patient care needs and enhance patient care systems.
  • Promoting the facility through active involvement in external and internal healthcare activities.
