About The Position

ChildNet, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit community-based care (CBC) agency servicing Broward and Palm Beach County. We are contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, to provide case management support to abused, abandoned, and neglected children. ChildNet is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and employs over 600 staff at its location in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida. The Chief Clinical Officer plans, designs, directs, and monitors a comprehensive clinical, well-being, and placement network service array that includes a quality improvement strategy to ensure high quality, accessible, and effective services for the children and families served.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) required
  • Ability to make complex decisions and balance the needs of stakeholders involved.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite programs.
  • Knowledge of databases and accounting software.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Child Welfare and cross-system collaboration strongly preferred
  • Certification in Six Sigma or other process improvement model preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides general management, administrative oversight and improvement of ChildNet's behavioral health, well-being, and placement services in compliance with the licensing requirements and the policies of the governing body to ensure effective delivery of all community services and initiatives.
  • Responsible for oversight, development and integration of clinical and well-being network strategy and quality management.
  • Responsible for developing and monitoring key performance indicators and outcomes to determine overall performance, effectiveness and responsive network development strategies for the array of placement, behavioral health, health, education, and juvenile justice responsive services.
  • Providing strategic leadership, direction and implementing system wide clinical, well-being, and placement network service development for children and families to ensure quality and innovation in furtherance of ChildNet’s Mission and goals.
  • Directing the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of an integrated network service array that is accessible, high quality, and effective in serving the youth and families in their local communities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with service providers, public agencies and community organizations in furtherance of ChildNet’s Mission.
  • Communicating the strategic vision, scope and mission of service coordination, well-being and licensing departments.
  • Directing the delivery of behavioral health, educational, juvenile justice, and placement services throughout ChildNet’s service area and spearheading quality and service network initiatives aimed at maximizing the efficiency of operations, improving service, and enhancing quality, safety outcomes, and well-being of those served.
  • Identifying gaps of service in the community and implementing a plan of action, including finding strategic methods of funding.
  • Conducting presentations and communications with various stakeholder and partner groups to provide information regarding service needs, including behavioral health programming.
  • Serving as a strategic partner in the development and implementation of ChildNet’s strategic plan.
  • Recognizing, respecting and responding to the unique culturally defined needs of those served.
