Add financial depth to the organization and support Fund Control President/Manager. This role involves creating the yearly Annual Operating Plan, preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, reconciling general ledger accounts, and monitoring bank balances. The Chief Business Officer will also serve as a liaison with external auditors and state officials, manage trust balances to maximize earnings, and handle the escheatment of unclaimed funds. Additionally, this position is responsible for setting pricing on all products and services, maintaining service quality through procedures and employee management, and conducting department meetings. The role also involves legal liaison, approving disbursements, reviewing corporate approval packages, and collaborating with IT on system enhancements. Process management, fee negotiation, and quality control are key aspects, along with supervising staff and assisting with business proposals. Analyzing problem accounts, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer service improvement are also critical. The Chief Business Officer will set up cross-training for positions, approve new agreements, and work with outside counsel for exceptions. Finally, this role includes approving timesheets, payroll, and managing scheduling.
