About The Position

The Chicken Kitchen Clerk helps grow the community by providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and deliver a brand-aligned experience. The role includes preparing and handling products, maintaining product quality and department sanitation and safety, and providing guest service. Pay starts at $15 per hour.

Requirements

• Have a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Be able to actively engage guests and be willing to have fun with them.
• Be able to work well with others.
• Be able to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to read and understand information and directions.
• Have knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical job requirements.
• Have effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Be able to communicate effectively with supervision and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure products offered for sale meet Lowes Foods quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed to meet standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Make public-address announcements.
