About The Position

The Chicken Kitchen Clerk provides personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and deliver a brand-aligned experience. The role supports chicken kitchen operations by ensuring product quality, maintaining sanitation and safety, and completing product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed. The clerk also makes PA announcements and performs other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability and willingness to actively engage guests and have fun with them.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and take direction from supervision.

Responsibilities

• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure the quality of products for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
