About The Position

The Chicken Catcher catches and loads chickens efficiently and safely, using proper lifting and loading techniques and operating catching and loading equipment according to procedures that ensure the safe handling of birds. The role requires following animal welfare policies and company safety standards. The stated pay rate is $20.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked from 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. and an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked from 12:00 a.m. to 4:59 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift 30 lbs. for the duration of the work shift.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel for the duration of the work shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shifts with variable starting and ending times when needed.
• Must be able to work safely and follow company standards, guidelines, and policies.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening.

• Catch and load chickens in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

• Operate catching and loading equipment according to proper techniques and procedures for safe bird handling.
