About The Position
ComForCare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for hourly and live-in cases, including cases with immediate staffing needs. The role supports clients with daily activities, personal care, mobility, household needs, meals, and companionship. Caregivers are offered ongoing training, field support, respectful treatment, and thoughtful matching with compatible clients. The position is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee, which is the employer and makes all employment decisions.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
- Good references for past performance.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Legal work status and ability to pass a background check.
- Spoken and written English ability.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities.
- Provide personal care assistance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for families.
