Clinton Prairie Jr.-Sr. High School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centered Chemistry, AP Chemistry, & Physics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in high school Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Physics, creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license (or ability to obtain) in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
• Strong content knowledge in both Chemistry and Physics preferred
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to continuous professional growth

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
• Utilize hands-on labs and real-world applications to deepen student understanding
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
