About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for UND students only. The successful applicant will work closely with students during CHEM 115 or CHEM 116 class time as a peer facilitator and will also be responsible for proctoring exams.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• A solid understanding of Introductory Chemistry
• Ability to work in a directed yet unsupervised manner
• A conscientious work ethic
• Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time
• Completed a 200-level chemistry course with a B or better
• Have an overall GPA over 3.0 or better
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and proficiency as a teaching assistant.
