About The Position
Clean Harbors Sumter is seeking a Chemistry Intern to join their safety-focused team. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting real projects that contribute to business priorities across environmental, energy, and industrial services operations. As part of the Industrial Services internship program, this opportunity will be based at an HPC Industrial or Thompson Industrial location, Powered by Clean Harbors. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to the industry, and develop practical skills that support their academic and early career goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry or Engineering.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations.
