Chemistry Lecturer
About The Position
This is a 100% appointment for the 2026-2027 academic year. There is a possibility this position could be extended in subsequent semesters to teach General or Organic Chemistry, or similar courses, within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment. The role involves teaching General Chemistry or Organic Chemistry, preparing course materials, presenting lectures, preparing and grading exams and homework, and holding office hours. The position serves as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations, develops instructional design and curriculum, and facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction, including assessment of student performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience teaching Chemistry is required.
- PhD in Chemistry or related fields is required
- Eligibility to work in the United States on or before the effective date of appointment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience teaching chemistry at the college/university level is preferred.

Benefits
- The minimum salary for a full time (100%) position for an academic year (9 months) is $50,000.
