About The Position

The Chemistry Lab Technician II in the Special Matrix Group performs laboratory procedures that support chemical analysis. The role is suited to technicians with basic laboratory skills who can work effectively in a team environment. Work must follow defined processes, standard operating procedures, quality and documentation requirements, and safety and ethics requirements. The technician is also responsible for properly maintaining required laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, plus laboratory experience and/or college-level laboratory coursework.
• One to five years of related experience.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, including use of balances and pipets.
• Ability to work well in a production team environment and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel.

Nice To Haves

• AAS degree.
