The Chemistry Department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in assignments teaching part-time for the undergraduate chemistry program. The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of Chemistry courses including, but not limited to: Introduction to Chemistry, General Chemistry, Topics in Modern Chemistry, Energy Issues, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and associated laboratories. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution with at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the collegiate-level.
• Doctorate Degree in Chemistry or related field from a regionally-accredited institution.
• The Equivalent. Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be judged as equal to the stated minimum qualifications for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
• Evidence of strong teaching.

Responsibilities
