About The Position

As a Chemical Technician, you will support field operations by monitoring process conditions, conducting testing, and maintaining equipment performance. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency while adhering to safety, compliance, and quality standards. You will build your technical expertise in chemical applications and industrial processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will gain hands-on experience through structured training and contribute to delivering reliable and efficient field operations.

Requirements

• A basic understanding of industrial processes and business principles
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• The ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to varying weather, heights, and PPE requirements
• Valid work authorization in the country of employment

Nice To Haves

• A two-year Technical College degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of chemistry, materials, process flows, or petroleum engineering concepts

Responsibilities

• Monitoring application operating parameters to ensure optimal performance
• Conducting field and product tests, recording data, and communicating results to supervisors
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment as directed
• Managing product inventory, including reporting, ordering, and coordinating deliveries
• Developing a general understanding of industrial and business processes
• Participating in the LEAD – Field Specialist Development Program and completing required training
• Ensuring all activities comply with Baker Hughes HSE policies , legal requirements, and company core values
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational and customer requirements
