About The Position

As a Chemical Technician, you will support field operations by monitoring process conditions, conducting testing, and maintaining equipment performance. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency while adhering to safety, compliance, and quality standards. As a Chemical Technician, you will build your technical expertise in chemical applications and industrial processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will gain hands-on experience through structured training and contribute to delivering reliable and efficient field operations.

Requirements

• A basic understanding of industrial processes and business principles
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• The ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to varying weather, heights, and PPE requirements
• Valid work authorization in the country of employment. The employer is unable to sponsor work authorization for this role at any time.

Nice To Haves

• A two-year Technical College degree or equivalent (preferred)
• Knowledge of chemistry, materials, process flows, or petroleum engineering concepts (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring application operating parameters to ensure optimal performance
• Conducting field and product tests, recording data, and communicating results to supervisors
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment as directed
• Managing product inventory, including reporting, ordering, and coordinating deliveries
• Developing a general understanding of industrial and business processes
• Participating in the LEAD – Field Specialist Development Program and completing required training
• Ensuring all activities comply with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and company core values
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational and customer requirements
