About The Position
This role requires a BS degree in Chemistry or another science field with a minimum of 12 semester hours in Chemistry. The position involves performing chemical analyses and maintaining laboratory equipment. Prior experience in a water treatment plant or industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with boiler/water analysis, deionized water production, and mechanical parts/repair is also beneficial.
Requirements
- BS degree in Chemistry or other field of science with a MINIMUM of 12 semester hours in Chemistry required.
- Experience and competency in the use, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation/equipment.
- Knowledge of proper analytical methods and techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience and knowledge of boiler/water analysis preferred.
- Previous work experience in a water treatment plant preferred.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical parts and repair is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in production of deionized water is preferred.
