About The Position

This role requires a BS degree in Chemistry or another science field with a MINIMUM of 12 semester hours in Chemistry. The position involves performing chemical analyses and maintaining laboratory equipment. Prior experience in a water treatment plant, industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with mechanical parts and repair, as well as knowledge of deionized water production, are also beneficial.

Requirements

• BS degree in Chemistry or other field of science with a MINIMUM of 12 semester hours in Chemistry.
• Experience and competency in the use, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation/equipment.
• Knowledge of proper analytical methods and techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience and knowledge of boiler/water analysis.
• Previous work experience in a water treatment plant.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical parts and repair.
• Knowledge and experience in production of deionized water.

Responsibilities

• Perform boiler/water analysis.
• Conduct laboratory analyses using appropriate methods and techniques.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation/equipment.
• Operate and maintain equipment in a water treatment plant or industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Produce deionized water.
