Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of manufacturing process experience
- 6+ months of experience operating a forklift
- External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of manufacturing process experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Associate degree in any discipline
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Technical knowledge in chemical manufacturing environment
- SPC experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma and ISO certification.
Responsibilities
- Performing daily production duties in the assigned production area.
- Ensuring optimum operation of equipment by maintaining full compliance with operating instructions and company policies and procedures.
- Assuring the safe and environmentally compliant operation of the production processes.
- Participating in process performance analysis and improvements within areas of responsibility.
- Assisting other shift members by performing normal operator duties.
- Packing containers.
- Material handling.
- Coordinating chemical transfers from vessel to vessel through filtration processes.
- Maintaining technical databases as requested by Lead Operators and/or Production Management.
- Reviewing shift notes and providing detailed information of production status during shift turnovers for assigned areas.
- Providing on-the-job training to Chemical Operator I classification as requested by Production Management.
