About The Position

CHT USA Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lead Chemical Operator to join their team. This role involves operating advanced equipment and systems, leading shift operations, and producing high-quality chemical products in a safe and efficient environment. The position offers a 4% shift premium for the second shift.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift and respiratory equipment certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing employees
• Lean Manufacturing mindset with a continuous improvement focus
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment and under pressure

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of chemical processing experience preferred
• ERP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift operations and team members
• Measure and mix materials with precision
• Maintain and optimize system parameters
• Collaborate with QC and R&D teams to ensure product excellence
• Safely load and offload chemicals
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Train and mentor team members
