About The Position

CHT USA is seeking a Chemical Operator to operate equipment and semi-automatic systems that transform chemicals into high-quality products. The role includes hands-on training in equipment operation and collaboration with QC lab and R&D teams. The position is on 2nd shift, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with a 4% shift premium. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently on daily tasks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with diverse team members.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of related operator experience preferred.
Familiarity with ERP solutions such as SAP, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow initiatives to improve quality, cleanliness, safety, and productivity while reducing costs.
Learn to operate equipment through hands-on training.
Collaborate with the QC lab and R&D teams.
Build production batches and maintain accurate batch paperwork.
Load and unload chemicals; operate pumps and filters; and monitor temperatures and run speeds.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and submit repair work orders.
Maintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with 6S principles.
Work with the team to achieve key performance indicators and perform other assigned duties.
