Requirements

Ability to work with chemicals, including using a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for short periods of time.
Requires 2 years of experience in a relevant field and/or familiarity with gas handling and distribution systems.
Previous experience in a technical or maintenance role, ideally in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
Strong computer skills for system operation and troubleshooting.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety procedures.

WGNSTAR does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program for this role.

Responsibilities

Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, including wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus’ and Chemical Resistant PPE.
Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers.
Understand how the mechanical portion of the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly, and perform non-invasive preventive maintenance.
Perform daily rounds, including verifying purifier set points, recording readings, calibrating analytical equipment, completing safety surveys, monitoring inventory levels, and verifying monitoring systems.
Primary communication point to the customer.
Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
