About The Position

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a Chemical Technician to support the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of chemical distribution and process systems within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with engineers, operations teams, and customers to support chemical delivery systems, process equipment, piping networks, pumps, valves, instrumentation, and related semiconductor infrastructure. The specific technician level will be determined based on the candidate's experience, technical knowledge, certifications, and interview assessment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow technical procedures, work instructions, safety protocols, and operating procedures.
  • Comfortable working around industrial chemicals and semiconductor process systems.
  • Ability to work safely in cleanroom, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, and lift materials in an active industrial environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Chemical Technology, Process Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with semiconductor chemical delivery systems, bulk chemical systems, or high-purity process systems.
  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping systems, filtration equipment, flow controls, instrumentation, and chemical process equipment.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, or startup activities.
  • Semiconductor fab, cleanroom, chemical plant, pharmaceutical, water treatment, industrial manufacturing, or facilities experience.
  • Familiarity with hazardous chemical handling, SDS requirements, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, controls, or automated process systems.
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, LOTO, or other industrial safety certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of semiconductor chemical distribution systems.
  • Monitor chemical delivery equipment, pumps, valves, filtration systems, piping networks, and associated process support equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities on chemical systems and equipment.
  • Assist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Conduct system inspections, leak checks, operational verifications, and routine equipment assessments.
  • Follow chemical handling procedures, SOPs, lockout/tagout requirements, and semiconductor safety protocols.
  • Support chemical transfers, chemical changeovers, and material handling activities while maintaining strict safety standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, meters, and diagnostic instruments to perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Document maintenance activities, system performance data, inspections, repairs, and operational issues.
  • Escalate equipment failures, safety concerns, process abnormalities, or system alarms to supervisors and engineering teams.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customer representatives to support project execution and system reliability.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards and support 5S initiatives throughout work areas.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency.
