About The Position

As an HMI (Human Machine Interface) operator in a manufacturing plant, your primary role is to control and monitor industrial and manufacturing processes using HMI software to coordinate machines and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in operating HMI software or similar control systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical systems is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts or rotational schedules, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate HMI software to monitor and control machines and equipment in manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor machine inputs and outputs to ensure proper functioning and identify abnormalities.
  • Respond to alarms, notifications, and alerts promptly and take appropriate action.
  • Adjust system settings and parameters to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and other team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine performance, production data, and maintenance activities.
  • Generate and review reports on machine performance, production output, and quality control.
  • Perform routine inspections and checks to ensure machines and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology, trends, and advancements in HMI systems and automation.
