About The Position

The Chemical Handler coordinates raw material movements between the warehouse and production to support the production schedule. The role prepares and handles chemical raw materials, maintains inventory accuracy using SAP, and supports laboratory testing and tanker unloading. Work must follow safety procedures, required PPE, process documentation, and warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with PC skills, including Microsoft Office, an RF scanner, and SAP.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures; commitment to safety.
• Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 55 lbs., operate a forklift, wear a respirator, and handle chemicals.

• Hazard Communication Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical raw material movements between the warehouse and production to support the production schedule.
• Pick, prepare, weigh, and label chemical raw materials for production according to batch sheets and material requests.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through raw material and packaging cycle counts and timely SAP transactions for counts and stock transfers.
• Organize and consolidate raw materials in warehouse racks to support efficient inventory control.
• Collect raw material samples for laboratory testing and collaborate with lab personnel during tanker unloading.
• Handle chemicals and operate equipment in accordance with safety procedures, required PPE, and process documentation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards.
