About The Position

This role involves processing parts to meet customer requirements through various chemical and mechanical finishing techniques. The Chemical Finisher is responsible for ensuring parts meet all customer specifications and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and proper documentation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Experience understanding proper documentation/quality requirements for a regulated environment.
  • Basic knowledge of proper handling of chemicals.
  • Understand relevant Safety requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in multiple areas as needed.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.
  • Good vision either natural or thru correction (Glasses/Contacts lens) is needed for this position. Ability to see colors.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to stand the majority of the shift to perform duties.

Responsibilities

  • Process parts according to customer print and/or EMS specifications.
  • Maintain a high degree of quality in your work area or station.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain line clearance at all times.
  • Identify non-conforming product and notify appropriate personnel or management.
  • Record production through Job Boss system.
  • Check to ensure all documentation (routers, inspection sheets, etc.) is filled in correctly and completely following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Escalate issues or concerns that require review of equipment for repair or adjustment to Production.
  • Support the EMS Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
  • Perform Other Duties as assigned.
